At HAL24K Agri, we are looking for a Sales Lead who is not only responsible for managing and coaching the sales team but also plays an active role in closing strategic deals.

    We combine cutting-edge data technology with deep agricultural knowledge to build solutions that restore soils, improve yields, and strengthen biodiversity. As a Sales Lead, you will guide our commercial strategy, scale your impact, and create industry-changing deals.

    Your role: Leadership and commercial decisiveness

    You are responsible for the success of the Sales team (3 FTE) and actively contribute to our turnover growth. As Sales Lead:

    • You achieve your own sales quota, with a focus on key accounts and strategic deals.
    • You manage a team of three Sales Executives, coaching on results, approach, and customer focus.
    • You determine the commercial course of HAL24K Agri together with the CEO and COO.
    • You work closely with the CMO, CTO, and Chief Soil Officer to translate market insights into strong propositions and scalable sales strategies.

    What you will do

    Manage team & lead commercial growth

    • You coach and guide the Sales team in achieving their goals.
    • You are responsible for the team results and your own revenue targets.
    • You are responsible for forecasting, deal reviews, and pipeline management.

    Exploit business opportunities within our core markets

    • You identify business opportunities in the Netherlands and internationally, with a focus on strategic target groups such as Seed Breeders, Governments, Cooperatives, and Lab & Research institutes.
    • You actively build relationships and open new markets for our CROP (crop optimization) and LIFE (soil management) solutions.

    Manage key accounts and close deals

    • You are responsible for closing large, impactful deals.
    • You work with various stakeholders during long-term sales processes.
    • You build trust with customers and advise them based on customer reference cases, practical examples, and ROIs.

    Strategy and collaboration

    • You help build pricing strategies, GTM approaches, and commercial product positioning.
    • Together with the CMO, you create targeted campaigns and content that feed the pipeline.
    • You feed market feedback back to the product teams and the leadership team.

    What do you bring?

    • A completed HBO or WO education, for example in Business Administration, Agribusiness or Technology.
    • At least 10 years of B2B sales experience, of which at least 4 years in a managerial or co-managerial role.
    • Demonstrable success in achieving sales quotas and guiding a team to results.
    • Experience with selling SaaS, AgriTech or data-driven solutions.
    • You are enterprising, analytical, inspiring and commercially astute.
    • You speak and write fluent Dutch and English.
    • Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot and a structured approach to pipeline management.
